From bangs to blowouts, French manis to freckles, this week’s best beauty Instagrams were all about committing to the bit.

For Lizzo, this meant showing off a mane of wet-look twists—a.k.a. “Bring It On hair”—a Y2K look made modern by ombré nude nails. Stella Lucia asked whether or not “the bangs were banging” (spoiler: they were, peroxide elevated by a bubblegum pink pout). At the same time, Emily Ratajkowski showed off her freshly-snipped fringe on a trip to Tokyo. In keeping with the jet-setting trend, Dua Lipa showed off her glossy raven (and immaculate manicures) in a series of Ibiza-set shares, while Tracee Ellis Ross honored her crown of brushed-up curls from the comfort of her stairwell.

And Selena Gomez continued to perfect her brand of all-out glam, a power braid accompanied by a full-tilt makeup look—smoked lids, cat-eye liner, contoured complexion, and all.
